LEFT FOOT FARM IS OFFERING GOAT HUSBANDRY 101 CLASSES!
Perfect for a potential/first time goat owner, or current owners interested in learning more and getting a different perspective on goat husbandry
Topics covered will include:
-Feeding: hay, grain, minerals, water, etc.
-Choosing your goats, including good body and udder conformation
-Creating the proper set-up: using Left Foot Farm as an example you will visualize our set-up and get recommendations on your own
-Hands-on practice with vaccinations, hand milking, bottle-feeding and hoof trimming
-Discussion on breeding and kidding
-Brief informative on disbudding and banding kids
-Farm tour of Left Foot, including our milking parlor and processing room
